Open Source (Non-Proprietary) Building Management Systems Offer the Freedom of Easy Integration

Today’s buildings are becoming increasingly complex, and the need to integrate dissimilar systems into a comprehensive platform is growing. Yet many building management systems still use proprietary communication protocols, forcing them to depend on inefficient suppliers and outdated software. Sander mechanical is prepared to help you remove these barriers and escape the “proprietary trap.”

Sander offers scalable and fully programmable BMS solutions uniquely designed to meet your exact building or campus needs. Our open-protocol, BACnet and LON-based systems offer easy integration and interoperability, meaning that, no matter the manufacturer, all building systems and subsystems can be combined to a single interface. We provide Building Management Systems to facilities throughout New Jersey, southern New York, and eastern Pennsylvania.

Cutting Edge Open Protocol BMS Technology Makes All the Difference

Historically, our pneumatic and direct digital controls (DDC) division has had ample experience working with Johnson Controls (JCI) Metasys, Honeywell WEBs AX, Siemens TALON®, and Tridium Vykon. Today, as an authorized Siemens (Building Technologies) Solution Partner and Certified Tridium/Niagara Integrator and N4 Framework Developer, we offer our customers alternatives to proprietary systems (such as Andover, Automated Logic, Delta, Siemens Apogee, Trane Tracer, Carrier Comfort Network, Alerton, Teletrol, TAC, Schneider Electric, and Distech controls), by offering truly open-source BMS platforms with the flexibility to integrate LonWorks, BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols.

Our Siemens and Tridium Niagara building control systems are designed to meet the most sophisticated demands of facilities while providing an open and interoperable platform to grow and extend from. Our Building Management Systems are fully compatible and easily integrated with various other building systems. Depending upon the application, we deliver the latest state-of-the-art front-end BMS platforms, including Tridium’s Niagara AX and Niagara 4 (N4) Framework, as well as Siemens’ DESIGO CC and DESIGO Optic.

On average, Building Automation Systems can save 15% to 25% of equipment operating costs. For many buildings, savings can range from $0.20 to $0.50/square foot.
